Hello everyone! I am alive. I have left Chicago for a short time. I will be back. I am in the woods. Basically that is all you need to know. Adam S. and I worked hard all week configuring a new set up to record the show, and I believe we got it. Last night we recorded our first non-Adam C. in Chicago show. I am editing it right now and it sounds great. Seriously, I am very astounded and pleased at the sound quality. The 2 Adams sound as though we are in the same room, just like old times. We also now have a greater capability for recording our world famous interviews, so look for more of those on the horizon.

I just wanted to take a moment and touch base with you guys (as if anyone really reads this). I Also wanted to mention how excited I am about the Charlotte Heroes Con coming up. Brother Joe C. and I are going to be there all weekend. We will try to coordinate our attire so that you can spot us. I'm thinking Ricky Gervais.

Anywho, It was a good week for comics. Battle for the Cowl went out with a bang! Anyone have any ideas who the Black Mask is? And was that Dick Grayson at the end as Batman? Superman/Batman surprised me. Punisher was excellent as always; too bad Jerome Opena is leaving the book. Cap was disappointing, but Thunderbolts came through. Then there was that indi gem from Image, Olympus #1, from our friends Nathan Edmonson and Christian Ward. Good read!

Well, I am off. Thanks again to Brother Joe C. for filling in last week. For those of you who have not listened, check out #28, and look for some Goon-age excreting next week from Joe C.The new show should be up tonight, and a shout out to Matt S. at The Chicago Comic Vault, and James N. over at First Aid Comics! SHOUT!

See you in the future! AC

The Comic Vault StorefrontOh, so you thought that the 2 Adams were the only game in town for some insightful reviews of the latest offerings from DC, Marvel, and all those Small Press publishers out there?

Hi guys. It's 1:25 am Monday morning, on the 18th of may 2009, and I have been hit by the urge to write. This is my first blog for the new site and I have decided I am not going to try to wow anyone with big words unless I know what they mean.

Wickerlight LogoCome one and all to The Comic Hour 2.0!

After months of planning and preparation, The Comic Hour and Wickerlight Innovations announce the release of the brand new, updated website: www.thecomichour.com.  This update is the realization of an idea begun way back in October 2008, when the 2 Adams first plugged in their microphones.  With this single update, our page count has increased 100 fold!  So what does this mean for Comic Hour listeners?

The Wooden, 25th Anniversary show is here! That's right folks, The Comic Hour with 2 Adams made it to 25 episodes, and we are going to take it to Dansa, and keep on truckin! It was a masterful panel including Adam C., Adam S., Brother Joe C., and the Sick Ted S.
