Must Read Books
The question we get asked most often in emails and out on the street, when we're stopped by adoring fans begging for our autographs, is: "I'm a new reader (or: I'm just getting back into comics"). What are the books that I just have to read to catch up on all this continuity, or in the case of Amazing Spider-Man this incredible, sustained, unfortunate, and depressing LACK of continuity?"
Well, we thought we'd start up a list of those books which we feel must be read, either because they help one gain a foothold on current story continuity, or they are such classic stories that you will be made fun of at your LCS if you haven't read them. OR they are just so BAD A. that you'd be doing yourself a disservice to have not read them.
This list will always be growing and expanding, and we will be adding more detailed reviews as time allows, but for now just go out and get this books because you MUST read them.
