Meet The Author

Hey guys!  Adam S here.  Native New Yorker, but proud Chicagoan, I've been reading comics ever since I was a kid.  I studied writing at Purchase College in Westchester, NY, and moved to the best city in the Multiverse in 2005.  I love to hear from comic fans, but I hate Facebook and I don't Tweet.  So email me at 2adams@thecomichour.com.

After months of planning and preparation, The Comic Hour and Wickerlight Innovations announce the release of the brand new, updated website: www.thecomichour.com.  This update is the realization of an idea begun way back in October 2008, when the 2 Adams first plugged in their microphones.  With this single update, our page count has increased 100 fold!  So what does this mean for Comic Hour listeners?

First, you'll find a bevy of new interactive features, including reader comments, polls, and embedded podcasts!  You can play each episode directly from the Podcasts page without any download time.  We're happy to finally be able to cater to those folks who don't use iTunes.

Second, you'll be able to find all of our archived material in one place.  No more searching blogger for backlogged info.  All of our news, reviews, episodes, blogs, and features will be archived and saved right on thecomichour.com.  And with our search feature working, you'll be able to find just what you're looking for!

Finally, with Wickerlight's custom Web Engine, our updates will come swiftly and consistently.  There will be no more waiting for Adam S to push the news of the new interview when he gets a chance.  Check back with us every day!

The people at Wickerlight Innovations have worked carefully and meticulously over many weeks to design our layout and meet our personal needs and specifications.  They are amazing to work with and we can't thank them enough.  At the heart of The Comic Hour is the content management system (CMS).  For more information on Web Engine and The Comic Hour collaboration, check out Wickerlight Innovations.

Thanks again for swinging by and keep checking back with us.  In the meantime, we'll see you in the Future.

RE: The Comic Hour 2.0!
It sounds like they are giving me all of the credit here, but make no mistakes, the two adams have worked hard to get all of the articles and content ready for the launch. These are the two hardest working individuals in comic book podcasting. Keep it up guys!
