For those of you loyal followers of The Comic Hour podcast, you may recall back on April 9th the 2 Adams interviewed Nathan Edmonson and Christian Ward, co-creators of Olympus. Well, we've been preparing for the wrath of the gods for over a month now as it is due in stores next week, may 20th.

Image featured the book as its Gem of the month in its solicits for March, and since then the industry has been eagerly awaiting the story of Castor and Polux, the two brothers from Greek mythology bound to Zeus' service. It's now 3000 years later and they are sent to track down an exiled god and in the process release one of Hades' most dangerous prisoners.

The creators promise tons of action and mystery, and though both are rather new to the industry, I got exited just hearing how enthusiastic writer Nathan Edmonson was to be able to share this story with readers. And for those not familiar with artist and Englishman Christian Ward's work, check out his short Atomic Robo story he did in vol. 1 of Atomic Robo by Red Five Comics.

Between Edmonson's update of the gods of Greek mythology, and Wards hybrid of watercolor and digital painting, I would be willing to bet that Olympus does not disapoint.
