Meet The Author

Brother Joe C.Hi, I'm Joe C. Weee!!! I'm currently typing on a keyboard, but by the time anyone reads this I will not be. Chicago is my home. I feel a little guilty for reading as many comics as I do being that my first love is music, like I'm cheating on my lover. Being a part of the Comic Hour is wierd. Bye-bye!!!

The search for Alan Moore has finally come to an end! After months of searching and a failed royal manhunt ordered by the Queen herself, the search is over. Mr. Moore was found early Sunday morning nestled in his favorite chair by a freshly stoked fire reading a copy of O Magazine by his man-maid who was caught by surprise during his daily dusting duties. The man-maid's only comments described Mr. Moore's uncontrollable laughter and some question and answer-like babble all the while with the magazine clutched within Mr. Moore's grip.

Fortunately, Mr. Moore managed to "snap out of it" for a brief moment and according to his servant, pointed to a manuscript lying dangerously close to the fire. Mildly annoyed yet bound to his oath and duty, we have once again, Marlow the Man-Maid to thank for delivering to us Mr. Moore's latest masterpiece; The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Century: 1910.

The fourth installment begins fittingly in the year 1910. The world has changed since we last adventured with the League and the current team has a few new faces. Those familiar with the League's past lineup and history, as chronicled in "The Black Dossier", will be pleased to see the return of a couple of familiar and rejuvenated characters.

London is a dark place where the new century and the fear left behind by Jack the Ripper have clashed leaving London a dangerous and highly unstable place. A cult is on the rise and Captain Nemo has passed the torch. The League has it's own problems within it's ranks and if that wasn't enough, everybody's singing!!! Yes! Alan Moore has created the first comic book musical!! Do not roll your eyes young sir!! This is Alan Moore I speak of! He is the current master. Oh, and art by Kevin O'Neill is as awesome as ever and this is the first of three that will complete this volume. Don't pussyfoot around on this one.
