Judd Winick returns to what he does best in this 40 page epilogue to Battle for the Cowl, with pencils by Justice League of America's Ed Benes. What does it mean to wear the cowl, and what will it take to get Gotham back from the underworld that engulfed it in Batman's absence?
This is the lead-in issue to Winick's new run in a new era for Batman. Benes will aid in ushering in Dick Grayson as the new man behind the mask, and then Mark Bagley takes over for the first four issue arc.
