Captain America 600Story: Ed Brubaker, Roger Stern, Mark Waid
Art: Dale Eaglesham, Luke Ross, Butch Guice
Cover: Steve Epting
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Price: $4.99
Release Date: Monday, June 15, 2009

Diamond announced last week that Captain America #600 will be made available to retailers two days earlier than the standard Wednesday release that the company has held for years. Not only is Marvel returning Cap to his original numbering with this issue, but buzz was already amassing around what surprizes issue #600 will bring to the world of Marvel's deceased hero, if any.

The issue is written by Cap scribe Ed Brubaker, with back up stories and reprinted material by Mark Waid, and Roger Stern. It will be penciled by Dale Eaglesham, Luke Ross, and Butch Guice, with a cover by Cap mainstay Steve Epting.

Over the last month Marvel has released the following two teaser images in anticipation of Captain America #600.

What do the images mean, and what will Captain America #600 bring? These are the questions I pose to you dear reader.

I'll be performing the act of "in shop reading" on this one. Captain America's been a bad bad boy. Thats what you get when you misbehave. So sorry, Marvel. There's a sayin where I come from. You all've probly got it here too. Fool me once, shame on...him. Shame on... Fool him...uh, you know what I mean. Dang!
